Sharpham Milestones


2018 -  Their Sparkling Reserve NV wins Silver at the Decanter World Wine Awards.

2018 - Their first ever Pinot Gris (Wild Ferment) is released. 

2017 - More Pinot Noir Précoce is planted. 

2015 - Their Pinot Noir & Précoce 2013 wins UK red wine of the year. 

2015 - Sharpham win a Bollicini Del Mundo Award for Sparkling Reserve N.V

2005 - The first vintage of their Bacchus is produced in a unique off dry style.

2001 - Pinot Noir Précoce is planted in the second vineyard.

1999 - Sharpham produce a New Release white wine for the first time - 8 weeks from vine to bottle and released on Beaujolais Nouveau Day.

1997 - Sharpham release the popular blend Dart Valley Reserve - now their best selling wine.

1993 - The second vineyard is planted with Madeleine Angevine, Dornfelder and Phoenix

1992 - The first Barrel Fermented Madeleine Angevine is released - one of the first oak matured English white wines.

1990 - Sharpham see their first successful harvest of Madeleine Angevine and produce the Estate Selection dry white.

1987 - First plantings of Madeleine Angevine.
