Polgoon Milestones


2018 - Seyval Blanc Brut Sparkling Wine 2014 wins Gold at the Taste of the West Awards.

2018 - Pinot Noir Rosé Brut Sparkling 2014 wins Bronze at the International Wine Challenge. 

2017 - Seyval Blanc and Ortega 2015 wins SWVA Cup for Best Oaked White Wine.

2012 - Polgoon Vineyard and Orchard was created as a trading division of Paramount 21 Ltd.

2008 - Expanding their focus to traditional method Cornish cider was a hit and helped them through the poor vintages for wine.

2007- Extremely poor weather meant low yielding harvests  and barely any wine produced.

2006 - The first harvest and release of Polgoon Rosé which won Waitrose 'Best still Rosé in UK'.

2004 - 3500 vines planted. 

2002 - Kim and John purchase Polgoon, after working as local fish merchants.
