The Story

Nestled in a small pocket of the historic Sharpham Estate lies Sharpham Wine and Cheese, a small and artisanal producer set on making the finest quality English wines and soft cheeses. 


Owner and director, Mark Sharman, is at the heart of his company ensuring the same methods and techniques are followed as they originally were when he worked alongside his uncle, Maurice Ash - founder of Sharpham Wine and Cheese and the last proprietor of Sharpham House. 


Their own recipe soft cheeses are sent all over the world with their wines also seeing regular international success. Head winemaker Duncan Schwab has been at the helm in the winery for 22 years and his expertise and infectious enthusiasm has seen Sharpham play a key role within this rapidly growing industry.
