Having picked up a Silver at this year’s Independent English Wine Awards, our expectations of this single varietal Pinot Noir Rosé were already high! ✨

Having already tasted the Lady Elizabeth as a part of the panel of IEWA judges, it was a pleasure to get a second chance to further appreciate this tasty pink fizz 😋

This wine is delicate pink in colour with a subtle amber glow // The nose is elegant, displaying hints of tangerine 🍊, vibrant red fruit 🍓 and only a very subtle element of toastiness from its 23 months on the lees // This wine is beautifully balanced on the palate with intense red currant, nectarine and a creamy mid palate with a gentle mousse. Its almost sweet ‘Campari-like’ finish was satisfyingly generous - our glasses were quickly re-filled! 🥂🍾

We thoroughly recommend this fizz - enjoy with smoked salmon or fresh English shellfish! 😍😍

Autumnal scenes at Denbies Wine Estate near Dorking, Surrey. Weighing in at over 240 acres (big even by European standards), this is one of England’s largest vineyards! 🍇🌱

With the exceptional (in every sense of the word) 2018 harvest now nearing an end, Denbies will have harvested a bumper crop of over 400 tonnes of grapes.. this will equate to over 500,000 bottles of still and sparkling #englishwine 💪🏼🥂
