Sixteen Ridges

The Vineyard

Hot Air Balloon over vineyard.jpg

The original 8 acre Worcester vineyard, planted in 2009, is situated on a warm and sheltered South West facing slope that forms a natural amphitheatre.

The more recent 4 acre Redbank site is situated in Herefordshire, across the Ledbury Wall Hills, on sandy loam and Devonian Red sandstone - well draining soil, capable of retaining heat.

Their vines are trained with the Scott-Henry trellising system in order to keep an eye on vigour as being in the rain shadow of the Black mountains means a slight lack of rain.
